Who can purchase Pearson Assessment tests?
You have to be registered to buy most Pearson tests. If you wish to buy online please add the products you want to your basket and "proceed to checkout" where you will be able to register and create an account through our e-commerce system. Alternatively if you just wish to register, please use this online registration form.
How do I go about ordering Pearson Assessment tests?
Once you are registered (please quote your registration number on all correspondence), you can order Pearson Assessment products in any of the following ways:

Online: Select the relevant product and follow the instructions from there
Offline: Download the order form and then fax, email or post it to us
Email: Send your order to info@psychcorp.co.uk

Do I have to pay VAT?
You have to pay VAT in the UK unless you are VAT exempt. If this is the case you must supply us with your VAT exemption certificate, we will then refund the VAT.
How can I pay?
You can pay by cheque or by credit/charge card: Visa, American Express, Mastercard, Switch or Delta. All payment must be received in sterling. Alternatively we can pro-forma you for your goods.
Can I use discounts or offers received from Pearson Education Ltd?
Offers or discounts from Pearson Education Ltd (which includes Heinemann, Ginn, Rigby, Raintree, Payne Gallway and MyPrimary) do not apply to any Pearson Assessment products.
50% discount on school accounts that have a child of an employee attending does not apply to Pearson Assessment products.

How long until I get my order?
Please allow 5 working days for delivery.
What shipping options can I choose from?
Test materials and related items are shipped via UK Parcel Post or Securicor. Urgent deliveries can usually be provided, but must be requested with, or preferably in advance of the order. Please note: urgent deliveries will incur an additional charge.
How are shipping and handling charges calculated?
Normal postage in the UK is shipped free of charge to the customer. Delivery usually takes 5 working days. If you require your order urgently this will incur an additional charge.

Can I return what I've bought?
Test Booklets, Record Forms and related materials may only be returned if they are damaged or sent to you in error. Please follow the guidelines below for return of goods. Only unbroken, resaleable packages are accepted and must show complete name, address, invoice number and reason for return on all paperwork.
Please ensure you follow these procedures for prompt handling:
- Check your order upon receipt. Do not open packages which you have not ordered - opened test packages cannot be accepted for credit.
- If you receive incorrect materials or quantities, or damaged or defective items, please do not return the items. Please send us information about the error (including invoice number and date of order) to Pearson Assessment, Halley Court, Jordan Hill, Oxford, OX2 8EJ call 0845 630 88 88 or email info@psychcorp.co.uk.
- All claims of manufacturing defects are waived unless made in writing and delivered to the Seller within 30 days of receipt by the purchaser. Claims for manufacturing defects will not be considered if materials have been used, unless in the Seller's sole opinion the defect could not be detected before use
- At all times, the Pearson returns procedures must be adhered to.

Try before you buy
Can I order any of your products on approval?
Yes. We offer a 30 day approval service to our registered users within the UK for all our products. Please call 0845 630 88 88 or email info@psychcorp.co.uk if you'd like to order a product on approval. Please note: this service is not currently available to overseas customers.
How do I arrange to view your products on approval?
We do require your request in writing. Personal customers may complete an order form within the catalogue or return one of our promotional leaflets. If you would like to view the materials on behalf of your organisation please either arrange an official order or write on headed paper. As long as the order is marked clearly "On Approval" the service conditions will apply.
Are there any conditions or charges attached to the On Approval / inspection service?
You must be registered with us. There is no fee and you can Register Online or send a completed registration form with your on approval order. An invoice will accompany your on approval publications, charging you or your organisation. You then have 30 days from the date of invoice to evaluate. If you wish to keep the items, simply pay the invoice within the 30 day period. Should they not be suitable it is your responsibility to return within the 30 days. The Company will despatch the publications free of charge but will not bear the cost of any return. Should there be any problem or delay, please contact us. The Company reserves the right to refuse to supply publications on this service. Software and videos are excluded from this service.

I want to return all or part of my on approval/inspection order?
Should the goods not be suitable for your needs, it is your responsibility to return them within the 30 days. You are responsible for the cost of the return and we do advise obtaining a proof of posting, which is free of charge from the Post Office. Instructions and the necessary documentation will be included in your original parcel. Please make sure that the blue warehouse label is on the outside of the parcel. Once received back into our warehouse the charging invoice will be credited accordingly. Payment for any items retained should be sent separately quoting the original invoice number.
I would like to look at a more valuable test before I buy, is this possible?
All products, including the more expensive ones, can now be ordered on 30 day approval (see Can I order any of your products on approval?). Alternatively, one of our sales consultants can visit you and your team for a free, no-obligation product demonstration. Please click book a product demo if you’d like to arrange an appointment with the sales consultant for your area.
I would like to arrange for a representative to visit me/my team to demonstrate some of your products. How do I organise this?
Our Sales Consultants provide free, no obligation product presentations or attend team meetings, in-service study days or regional conferences, either as speakers or to exhibit relevant materials. They are available to speak about particular products in detail or to provide information on basic statistics and interpretation of specific assessments. I need help with administering and scoring a test?
All of the answers regarding administration and scoring a test can be found in the manual. We suggest that you read this thoroughly before embarking on any administrations, paying particular attention to the introduction, administering and scoring sections of the manual. It is also useful to conduct at least one practice administration before using the assessment on a client. If after reading the manual you still have a query, please contact Customer Services.
